Unveiling the Writer

As a native San Diegan, born and raised in Chula Vista, I hold this city and its people close to my heart. In my prior roles as Creative Director/Account Executive with a local Televisa affiliate, I worked closely with the Hispanic business community, building relationships and engaging the public with the people who make our city great.

I am fluent in both English and Spanish, and produced all San Diego-based informative segments seen on our regional morning show, Qué Buen Día. I also oversaw a team of editors who create a variety of programming supporting local businesses with their production needs. As a team, we produced television commercial spots ranging from fifteen seconds to two-minutes in length as well as digital advertising content.

I am currently the Media Producer and Copywriter for Viejas Casino & Resort.

I am honored to have been recognized for my work, writing and starring in an eight-part campaign for a local healthcare system, for which I won the Emmy for Outstanding Commercial Campaign in 2019. I was also nominated that same year for Outstanding Writing – Short Form and the second half of the campaign was recently recognized by the Emmy committee with a nomination for Outstanding Commercial Campaign 2020. Other works have garnered me two San Diego Advertising Award trophies, including a bronze for Commercial Campaign and a Silver for Copywriting.
